Bracket of the World Cup 2022

The knockout stage is a single elimination tournament that begins with the round of 16. The first round of this phase is based on the results of the group stage: the winner of each group plays against the runner-up of another group. During the knockout stage, there is no draw. If both teams have the same number of goals scored at the end of the match (90 minutes), they play extra time and eventually penalty shootouts to decide the winner.
