Instructions for the Sportline Stopwatch 240
The Sportline 240 Stopwatch is a multifunction stopwatch that offers timers for splits and single events; month, day and time settings; an alarm; a shock-resistant case; and a 40-inch lanyard for easy carrying. Learning to operate the various functions is relatively simple, taking only a few minutes.
Using the Timers
Remove the plastic film from the front display and pull the battery protector tab out from the back of the stopwatch before using the device. To start using the timer, press the middle button on the top of the stopwatch and hold until the display reads 0:00.
Press the right-side button on the top of the stopwatch to begin using the timer. Press the same button to stop timing. Press the left-side button on the top of the stopwatch to reset the timer.
Press the right-side button on top of the stopwatch to begin using the split timer. Press the left-side button on the top of the stopwatch to time the split. Press again to release.
Repeat as needed for more split times. Press the right-side button on the top of the stopwatch to stop timing.
Press the left-side button on top of the stopwatch to reset the timer.
Clock and Alarm Functions
Press the middle button on the top of the stopwatch three times to change to timekeeping mode.
Press the left-side button on the top of the stopwatch to select the minutes on the watch display. Press the right-side button on top of the stopwatch to change the digits on the display to the desired time.
Press the left-side button on the top of the stopwatch to change to the hour mode. Press the right-side button on the top of the stopwatch to change to the desired time. Repeat these steps to change the date, month, and day on the display. Press the middle button on top of the stopwatch to exit the timekeeping mode.
Press the middle button on the top of the stopwatch twice times to set the alarm. Press the left-side button on the top of the stopwatch to select the hours and minutes for the alarm.
Press the right-side button on the top of the stopwatch to change between hours and minutes. Press the middle button on the top of the stopwatch to exit the alarm mode.
