Information on the Proform 755 CS Treadmill
Proform's 755 CS treadmill, also called the 755 CrossTrainer, is one of Proform's older treadmill models. While it doesn't offer all the features of some of the newer treadmill models, it still offers a space-saving design, powerful motor, automatic features and programmed workouts. It may be a good choice for you if you do not need a lot of options on your treadmill.
Assembly
You can hire an authorized service technician to assemble your machine, if you wish, by contacting Proform at 800-445-2480. Assembly requires two people. Since the machine is lubricated at the factory, you may need to clean excess lubricant off of the treadmill before assembling. Assembling the treadmill requires the included hex key, a Phillips screwdriver and wire cutters. Follow the assembly directions exactly as detailed in the owner's manual.
Components
The Proform 755 CS treadmill has a commercial-quality DurX motor. Proform claims the higher quality motor allows to exercise for longer periods of time than if using a lower grade motor. The motor uses an internal fan to reduce noise and cool components to extend the motor's life.
The machine's incline system and speed is activated with the push of a button; the deck and treadbelt provide a shock-absorbing cushioning system that operates quietly and protects joints while offering a comfortable walking surface.
Features
The Proform 755 CSS treadmill folds to save space, and has moving wheels so you can easily place it against a wall or store it behind furniture.
Other features include a heart rate monitor built into the handlebars, a workout fan, hand weights and a ClearView Prizm display for a clear readout.
Workout options include a manual workout mode, preprogrammed workouts and custom workouts. Interactive cross-trainer workouts feature a fitness coach to verbally and visually encourage you to perform a variety of exercises.
Warranty
Proform offers a limited warranty on the 755 CS treadmill. The warranty only extends to the original owner. The drive motor is covered for 12 years from the date of purchase; parts and labors are covered for 90 days from the date of purchase. Warranty repairs must be completed at an authorized service center and pre-authorized by Proform. The customer is responsible for a trip charge for in-home service.
Warnings
Keep the treadmill unplugged while assembling, after use and before cleaning the treadmill. Do not raise, lower or move the treadmill until it is assembled. The treadmill's weight limit is 300 lbs. Make sure to plug the treadmill into surge suppressor, and plug the surge suppressor into a grounded outlet. Do not use the treadmill outdoors or in moist environments.
